How does Lumi handle privacy and data?
Lumi as an AI interactive toy is privacy-first and parent-managed. We collect only what’s needed; no ads and no data sales. Voice recordings are not saved. Data is encrypted and stored in North America.
What age group is Lumi suitable for?
Lumi is made for children ages 4 to 8, when curiosity, imagination and emotions are developing quickly. Due to its conversational features, Lumi is not generally recommended for children under 4.
What is your return policy for Lumi?
If you’re not fully satisfied with your Lumi, we accept returns within 30 days of the delivery date. Please reach out to us at support@vbncity.com and we’ll provide a prepaid return label.

Yes, Lumi requires a home Wi-Fi connection to access the AI features.

How long does the battery last?
On average, Lumi’s rechargeable battery lasts 6–8 hours of active play. Battery life may vary depending on usage (chatting, music, light effects).
Does Lumi remember what my child says or does?
Lumi doesn’t store full conversations but can summarize key information to make future chats more helpful — for example, name, favourite stories or topics. All data is kept private and secure.
Is Lumi always listening in the background?
No. Lumi only listens and responds when it’s switched on and awake. After 2 minutes with no activity it enters sleep mode. To start a new chat, just wake it up by pressing the speaker button on her foot.
